lost my only key :(
ok so i was running in teh park late last night. and the key fell out my pocket.
i ordered one from teh dealer they said they dont' know how long it will take, maybe 2 weeks.
my car is sitting at the park and i'm worried it may get towed or broken into.
is there a way i can instantly get the key made to start the car?

Can a locksmith do anything to help this situation??
Someone must know a trick??
yea i'm worried someone will find it and take the car, it's a 3 miles trail. i went back 2 times to look for it. it was 10 at night. searched for 2 hours
i finally left there at 1am. i couldn't find anything. i went this morning to check on the car, it's still there. i'm gonna go there again after work and try to find it.
my legs are sore from the 9-10 miles from last night.
lol
maybe someone picked it up behind me and left with it. it's big and noticable, not like thos single small keys.
i have to go out of town tom and wown't be back till monday night. i jsut hope my car will be ok
i wish i could have gotten a new key today, i made one for my c-class (laser cut key) it took them a day. chrysler parts was soo clueless, it took them 40 mins, they kept sending me to service, serivce sent me to parts AGAIN. lol. then they said i'll have to tow the car in so they can program it. IT SHOULD BE ALREADY ENCODED!! lol. only program the keyless which we can all do ourselves...

You could have the car flat bedded by lifting up from the rear and having it taken to your house. Even if the alarm goes off it should reset itself after two minutes or so.
I am pretty sure that you could get a standard key made for it so you can get it. Not so sure about it starting the car though... I agree with the above. Have it towed and have some peace of mind.

If you can't move it b4 you leave, notify the local law inforcement as to why it is there they may keep an eye on it when they make trheir rounds. Good luck.
hey all. yea i'm considering have it towed if they key doesn't come in tom. the park is 5 mins walk from my house (.3 miles).
y did i drove to the park last night, i actually just wanted to drive the crossfire. lol. and now i can't. lol
thank u all.

If you get it towed, don't forget to push the tow button below the radio to deactivate stability control (i think that's what it is). Could mess up your car. Read about it in the owners manual.
Also, if it got stolen, it would probably get appraised north of its actual value, given how fast prices keep falling--you could use it as an opportunity to upgrade.
Be fatalistic about it.
