I noticed that there are two lights mounted in the hatch and one light on the left side wall of the cargo area. How are these lights controled? I looked through the owners manual but it does not address these lights or the cargo hold and hatch. Anyone know where the switch is?

 

Hatch lights are licsense plate lights. Turn on when position lights are on or low/high beams.

Trunk light is on when the dome light is on from doors being opened or trunk opened and such.

It's ok though, I pointed him back to this one.

 

So the light in the cargo bay should come on when the hatch is lifted.
I'll have to check out the bulb.

It will if the switch by the dome light is turned on, yes, thats what controls if the lights turn on when the doors/hatch are open. So if your dome lights are on when you open the doors, so should the hatch light.

 

My hatch light works sometimes, sometimes not. That's the one on the left side as you are looking into the hatch. I think there is a loose connection somewhere. I thought it was the bulb but when I went to pop it out it came on?? maybe you are having the same issue?
