I have been very patient waiting for these side skirts and I hope the wait will be well worth it.
I would appreciate a bit of feedback with an update as I am sure the other 25 or so individuals that have paid the $400-500.
I dont know what is going on for some reason when I click new post it must not be updating because THIS thread is never on the list. By the looks of it I have missed several posts again. My apologies.
As far as Rudy and I know is what we have been told. The skirts are on their way back which means 1st of MAY. I will send a PM or Email within the next two weeks confirming addresses. Once they arrive they will be inspected repackaged and sent on a pallet to us in MN. For our security we will then open the pallet go through each one, re wrap them and ship them out to your doorstep to the address you confirmed. Why the hell are we going through them again you ask? I would hate for someone who waited this long to receive a broken set. We have ordered extras for this very purpose.
Now for the good stuff, through the company we went through there is a shipment guarantee as well as a fitment guarantee. Meaning any set that is damaged during shipment will be replaced as well as they are guaranteed to fit. Shipment is only guaranteed to us, so we are going to have to add insurance ourselves to each set once we ship to you. Lol lot of shipping and a lot of extra work but there is no way around it. I know you guys have been overly patient and we appreciate it more than ever. Both deadlines that we have given have come and gone we realize that it was a miscommunication on our part. Regardless it is honestly out of our hands now, we wait just like the rest of you knowing they are coming.
As far as will the wait will be worth it, we have almost sold out of every extra set we have purchased. What this means is if you want a set after the fact (when you see how BA they look painted and installed) it will be anywhere from 2+ months to receive them and an extra $50- $100+.
Again thank you guys for supporting us and getting this ball rolling, I know we can hang in there till the end. Lol trust me no one is more disappointed about the fact that it is getting warm out and these are not already on my car.

I know if they look half as nice as my pillar pod does, these guys will be thrilled! I cant wait to see inferno's painted and installed!
Hey Jon,
I want them as badly as anyone but I am going to try and be patient
. I am confident you and Rudy are looking out for us. We don't want you guys to bail; we still need something on the front and rear to compliment these killer skirts!
Hopefully (yes I said hopefully) it won't be much longer than what JRI has been told. Truly thank you and Rudy for all your efforts...
Stay safe...
Respectfully,
Paul (MisterTaz)

I understand this is a big endeavor so I am patiently waiting. The way I see it, if taking a little longer will result in a better product, it will be worth the wait.
Now hurry! j/k
You had mentioned that these were being mfg'd in florida. I would be willing to take a drive to this location to check out the progress. I am sure a few others would be interested in checking out this place.
Trying to be positive, but I am staring to scratch my head and wondering why this process is taking sooooooooooooooooooooo long.
Again, intially it was who would be interested. The list was started, then it was we need half the monies before we can start. Then we need all the money including the shipping cost. 4 and 1/2 months ago I paid the upfront monies.
Am I crazy about questioning the length of time this is taking?
Johnnie the task you have undertaken, putting this together is to be commended, but I may have a heart attact and die before these are shipped. Or I might blow another supercharger or some one may total out my SRT or it might get stolen or or or or or.
HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have missed the new due date for these, but if there isn't a current completion date, a new one needs to be set. The money and time invested by the buyers is deserving of an accurate and firm due date.
Is my supposition correct that this a body shop working these in between slow times of insurance jobs? Experience has unfortunetly shown the longer projects like this drag on in body shops as a task time fillers, the more likely the builders will treat this like a burden and results and schedules will suffer. The manufacturer needs to be encouraged / motivated to elevate the priority of this task, provide us with a status, due date and ultimately complete the work and treat us as the advance cash paying customers we are.
Understanding of the manufactures desire for privacy and aninominity isn't going to last forever.
Anyone have any tangible information to pass on the shipping date?

Deadlines are easy to make when you are dealing with civic and 5000 people will buy this part. We have less than 50 people interested. Does this make us less of an importance no, does this make us less of priority..... yes.... With that being said they had Cliffs Car for almost 2 months before we even ok them to be made. At that time the clock started, (we did not really know or understand that this is when the clock started) They went out Jan 20th prototyping. Let me also say that Cliff himself out of pocket paid for a rental during the entire time his car was there for fitment and mock up. We can all do the math and know that rental cars are not cheap. Rudy and I have a great deal of time making sure everything was right and going over things with everyone involved. Everyone of you know we are not getting rich off of anything we are doing. What we are trying to do is spark an interest in the aftermarket base for this car. Again The company we are working with does over 4 million dollars in sales a year, they are very reputable and back up there product. There is no doubt in my mind that those that do actually stick it out will be 100% satisfied with the product they receive. Like I continue to say its out of our hands we are really honestly waiting too there are no smoke and mirrors here.
In closing if this was something that Rudy and I would have done in house and not had made from a mass production stand point there would only be two sets in the world and you can guess who's cars they would be on. I can tell you right now if you came into our shop and asked us to make a set of these one off. You would be in the thousands of dollar range for time and materials involved.
Cant say it enough, hang in there guys
Date is delivered by the 1st CONFIRMED shipment that is all I got

I'm still in, just make sure to remind the manufacturer that these items are indeed paid for and buyers are waiting. I can see them pushing back this project to take care of other projects. They must be reminded of their obligation to paying customers regardless of number. They agreed to take the project, have the monies, and now its time for them to finish it up and move on.
I will wait, its not that much money really but they must be coaxed and prodded obviously.

Jonny,
I am definetly still in. Waiting is a drag, but it just means that I dont have to pay for painting them for a little longer. (read..squirrel away more money) But I do like busting your chops....
Maybe I should hold some brackets hostage????
(hopefully done this weekend)

Thanks for everyone's patience with this. It's been a huge undertaking but the results will be well worth the wait.

Good things come to those who wait!
There is going to be some Sweet looking SRT's out there.......
