Well great day...the wife left the garage door open last night and when I went out this mourning I found a nice surprise...my consol torn apart.. radio and I-Pod missing..and the dirty #%$*& BAST.... USED MY OWN TOOLS TO TEAR MY CAR UP AND STEAL MY STUFF..!!!! Who the hell still steals radios out of cars..???

 

Someone who knew you had a nice stereo and where you keep your tools.....

good news is . you get to pick up a new radio and the new ipod !

 

Was the car unlocked? If so, you may have saved yourself a window.

 

Question is which is more expensive.

 

I feel for ya man. just a horrible feeling when someone violates you like that. Go easy on the wife though. Like the man said good excuse to upgrade and the best part is, she can't give you a bad time about spending the money.

ur insurance will charge a deductable and they wont cover the ipod and if u didnt have an edorsement witch most people dont they will only cover stock and the dash....... u lose anyway u look at it.......

I've always wondered why people steal stock radio's.....now some expensive high-end aftermarket unit I can see them stealing.....but a stocker?????




They didn't damage the cupholder did they?

 

Covering only the OEM stereo might be a good thing-ever checked on replacement cost for that puppy?

It might cover the loss on the iPod.

At my local chrysler dealer-a replacement stock stereo will cost you around 3K. You can get a much better system than the stock for 1/3 of that money.Maybe if there is some $$$ left over,you can pick up some other mods too.Good Luck------------------Dave

Enzio my family can't seem to close our garage either. We have a pretty good size Matco toolbox that's full of some really nice Matco and Snap On stuff.............needless to say I will be showing them this post. How hard is it to push a button? Hope it all works out for you.

Isn't this what being a Crossfire owner and forum member is all about. I had a mirror I sent to Golfergal last earlier this year at no cost and just sent some buttons to John in Tenn. today as he had his radio stolen and they messed uo the upper center console.

 

Keep checking Craigslist and ebay listings for awhile for radios listed in your area.
Might get lucky and be able to buy your own radio back!

 

Ya .... could have been much worse...the garage is attached to the house..lucky they were just out to steal radios..Can't really blame my wife...**** happens I guess
