Default What if...

OK, let's say that Chrysler does not get Fed $$$ and can't find a buyer. IF Chrysler folds, what happens to the warranties? The good news is that 80% of the car is MB so parts shouldn't become a huge issue but what happens if they fold? 5 Star service has never been the benchmark but it would be good to know the "Lifetime" powertrain warranty applied to the car rather than the car company.

As mentioned in another thread the service contracts are pretty much all held by third party companies.
