Default Help

Hey guy's need some help. Just retired from the military after 20 years and three tours to lovely Iraq. Now in the process of looking for civilians employment, but has been slow. Need new rear tires, and with no job, I am trying to wise with spending. Anyone know anyone with rear tires for sale, or a great place to pick up some rear tires. The $400.00 + people are asking for is just not a doable thing right now. Thanks in advance.

Check on Ebay. I have bought 4 fronts and 2 rears and have had really good luck. All have been Bridgestone Potenza's.

Good luck

Where are you located?

$400 should buy you a couple of Cooper rear tires. $200 more should take care of the front.
I have em on my car with no complaints.

On a side note.
Thanks for your many years of service for our country, D&D.

America's Tire/Discount Tire has Kumho Ecsta SPT for $205 each for the rears. I am willing to spot you one till you can get a job and on your feet and pay me back. Anyone else up to helping a fellow Veteran?

Thanks for your service!

Now that is the coolest thing I've read in a long time!
You can be damn sure it doesn't happen on other automotive forums...

And thanks to D&D for his years of service!

Thanks is in order here...Thank you! I wish I would have kept my stock Conti's with less than 15k miles. Could have sent then to you. Maybe someone here has a set in their garage they would be willing to give up to you.

You guy's and this community are amazing. To the two special people that offered to help, you have mail. To the rest of the crossfire community, the last two years, I spent X-mas in a bunker and on patrol respectfully, and it is people like you that make me proud to do what I do. This years X-mas was spent at home, and with friends, and I count you all as part of that extended family. God Bless you all.
