Where are all the crossfires?
Drove over 3,000 miles from St Louis to Norwich CT for Christmas. I was in 8 States for 10 days and never saw another Crossfire except Nightrider's excellent Red Roadster.
Not on the highway , not at restaraunts, not even at any Sleazy Slick ******* Auto malls.!?!?!
I'm driving a boring minivan and could have used the pick me up.
What, ALL you guys in the Northeast put them away for winter?
roadster with a stick.

Very few around here as well. Saw a very dirty one yesterday, first I've seen in a while. I guess the smart people put them away for the winter.

I drove from SF to LA and back this last week ... saw one Crossfire other than my own ... and I saw that one only because it belonged to GB'sXFire and we met by pre-arrangement ...
Not long ago, there were two I'd see regularly right in my own neighborhood, but neither are there any more ... dunno whether their owners sold the cars or moved away ...

I saw a black coupe on the freeway one night, headed towards Wisconsin.
Had more car turds hanging under it than I could believe.
A very sad sight to behold

I never see any on the interstates... I drive I-24, I-57, and I-75 quite a bit... and I remember seeing only two Crossfires over maybe 5000 miles. But, since I been home here in St. Petersburg, FL I have seen quite a few here. On Gulf Blvd. (road that runs along the Gulf), there are very nice cars... Porsches, M5s, AMGs... everytime I am down that road I see at least one Crossfire. Just the other night I saw a Roadster driving in the beautiful sunsetting 65°... And it seems whenever I do see another Crossfire, they do not see me. But, I think this all means our XFs are city cars. Not too many traveling in the freeways unfortunately.
Last Sunday I drove 160 miles on the DC Beltway and I-66; no Crossfires. They must all be asleep in their warm garages until Spring.
Monday I come out of my gym and lo and behold, a Black Base Coupe is parked next to me. My XF was grinning ear to ear to have company. Yes, it was a forum member and we have been PM'ing.

Hay! is U sayin' I ain't smart or sumpin lik that?
Most XF owners here in MI put them up for the winter. My son drives the 2007, weather permitting, which isn't often. He just uses it around town.
I drive mine to Detroit (across the state, I96) multiple times in the spring and fall. Occasionally I see another - and once had the pleasure of running along a coupe on M6 for about 15 miles. Usually I play tag with boring Boxsters and Beemers. I took each of the XFs to Fond du Lac WI this summer and saw a couple XFs each time. I was the only XF on the Milwaukee to Muskegon ferry and got some admiring looks -- the car, not me.
Also took a MI to NY trip in late May and did not see a one until I was less than a mile from my destination in Saratoga Springs NY. Through the next week I did see about 8-10 in NY and CT, and even one in Ontario on the way home.
Face it, they are and will continue to be a rarity. A lot of the members who own them don't drive them much, as witnessed by the low reported mileage. And some drive the heck out of them! I'm in the middle with 32k on the roadster and 13k on the SRT6.

I've been visiting my Daughter and her Boyfriend here in Vegas for the last 3 weeks, and I've only seen about a 1/2 dozen Crossfires (not counting her Boyfriends Roadster).
Mine gets tucked away for the winter months usually before Thanksgiving, and doesn't come back out until April.

Probably because everyone else was driving their minivan.
