Default Bent shift forks

My fourth gear has been grinding and not going in lately, so i take it to my friend's transmission shop and turns out I bent my shift fork with my "incredible hulk" shifting. They are changing shift fok, Syncros, bearings, and seals for total (Including labor) for $1,250. Hope to get it back Friday or at the latest monday. I was thinking of getting rid of it, but I am too in love with this car and how attention grabbing they are. Hope i wont have many future breackdowns as it only has 40k on the odometer.

Are you the first owner? What year is your xfire? I mean I have an '07 and I have the lifetime powertrain... While an actualy clutch is not covered I'm pretty sure everything else is... This is just a thought to help you save $1250...or save at least some of it.
