Question Racing Crossfire

has anyone tried to race the crossfire all out? meaning stripping all the interior putting on a ton of suspension parts, roll cage, brakes... etc.. all that.

i tried looking at videos online and all i got were all kinds of half *** kind of stuff
*** sorry if one of you guys did a video***

but i look online at google and theres not much stuff done to them other than lowering and lambo doors paint rims and what not... I havent seen one that really went all out on one other then a green show car i think.

I know its not a tuner car really but im not talking about putting underglows and all that crap on... more of actual racing type stuff... time attack, canyoning, that kind of stuff.

Im not trying to start a fight or anything just a bit of information if its more a less a cruiser than a race car with potential...

if its not a race car with potential i plan on changing that.... Let me know if anyone has done this

but starting in a couple of weeks i will be stripping my xfire and adding suspention lighter rims a roll cage seats so on and so forth, i will photograph the whole thing and hopefully be able to take pictures... and still make this street legal. It will be a long project but ill update as often as i can.

If anyone has done this already let me know, id love to see pictures of your work.

thanks for your time i dont mean to insult anyone if i did im sorry

I'm sure some folks will chime in since we do have some all out racing members. I myself only go to the local dragstrip once a month with a few bolt ons. And don't be so apologetic since you are asking some good questions. Folks such as BDJ's Racing (Brian) on here has some serious mods. Check his out when you get the chance.

Yes, HDDP is indeed a member here and quite well known for the work he's done to actually prep his Crossfire for all out racing. Unlike some of us who just enjoy a good HPDE day at the track.

HDDP has documented most all of his stuff. Check his posts as well as his gallery for the info you are looking for.

Update***

small update but just took the resonator off sounds a bit meaner but not to loud at all. It was just a cut and weld cant really notice a sound difference till you step on it.

Has some one already done this?

If you do a search on resonator delete you will find a nice how to from BrianBrave. Several folks have done this. Most like it, some dont. I LIKE IT!
