how do you reset the milelage maintance thing on your odometer????? I have done the proper work,but how do i get it off there???

 

FSS Reset

1. turn the key to the on/run position.
2. within 1 second press the **** to the left of the display twice.
3. present status for days remaining or distance traveled is displayed. within 10 seconds turn key to off.
4. press and hold **** on left side of display while turning key to on/run again. present status is displayed once more. continue to hold button. after approx. 10 seconds a tone sounds and the display shows 6,000 miles for approx. 10 seconds.
5. release the ****

Yes mine shows 7000 after a reset as well.
I thought they all showed 7000 after a reset don't they ??

 

7,000 miles (11,000 km in Canada) is in the manual. That's what I get.

 

Yeah, 7,000 miles between oil changes. Fluctuates on your driving style.. it's pretty smart.. (i have to go about 5,000 miles =P )

 

In my recently purchased '05 Crossfire, the odometer reads 3,100 and the 'double wrenches' logo is popping up when I start the car. What gives? I haven't driven 7K miles yet?! Any thoughts?

....Oh, and according to the info found on the inside door jam, her birth date was 3/04. So I guess it all makes sense now.
