TODAY was a very good day....After searching for about a year, I drove "Blue Velvet" home. She's an '05 Aero Blue coupe with an odometer reading of only 2,850!!!!!! I headed out this morning for a 2 hour drive to Harrisonburg, VA in a rental car (Dodge Caliber) and happily drove back in my XF.... She is currently sharing living space with my Miata in the garage.... The Conti's still look brand new with not a single speck of curb rash on the wheels, the engine is super clean, and the interior is perfect two-toned gray leather!

man i never thought you would actually bite and pick up a crossfire. now get to work and start modding you need to ditch the stock halogen and throw in a hid setup less than 100 bucks and make your car value jump up like $5000 and vision increase by 50%.

Great going - thought that I had seen all the Crossfires here in town (Harrisonburg, Va) even an oyster gold roadster, but have never seen an aero blue coupe on the road or parked. 2 hours away? DC?

bet the ride home was like floating - remember my 6 hour drive home - just didn't seem long enough!

Thanks for the welcoming comments, everyone! It's great to finally be in the game and off the bench!!!! The ride home through portions of Charlottesville, VA were amazing! Beautiful mountains, farms, barns, cows....I mean, it's still nice to know that places like these still exist. Anyway, love the spoiler!!!!!! ....Hitting 75 -80 most of the way felt like 50!! I really plan on easing up the foot, though. This car does attract A LOT of attention. No cops, please....Life's a funny thing. I was making plans to buy the '05 blue coupe (8,700K miles on odometer) in Denver, and then this one falls into my lap 2 hours away! Okay, that's it....I'M OFF TO PLAY THE LOTTERY!!!.....Wait, scratch that....I bought this car, therefore, I already won!!!!

Well, I did get my first 'wise-***' comment from a friend of mine. He said, "Does it come with a secret compartment for your lip gloss? If so, then I would say it's a steal!"

I certainly hope that is the first and last comment about it being some sort of 'girly car'....I walk around this thing and don't get any sense that it's feminine in any way....
