Default Attention Getter

The head-turning quotient is off the charts. I feel like a ONE MAN Parade at times. The only caution I see is :Watch your head when leaning out to retrieve your food @ the drive-thru.

I love these kinds of stories. I can't remember a car that gets this much attention. Even something like the new SL500 when it came out didn't get this much. I guess it must be that the Crossfire's styling is so unique.

I told my dealer not to sell this car to anyone not wanting attention!
I also drive a red Mustang convertable with some mods - so I'm used to some head turning attention... but nothing like what I get with the Crossfire!
Have not seen another Crossfire on the road in NW Arkansas.

Attention Getter - You Bet. I parked mine in from of my Mini-Storage facility yesterday. Several people pulled into the parking lot to look at it. A few can into the office and asked about it. One guy- in a Cadillac CTS- drove by about 10 times, finally stoped in and asked what it was. Another in an Infanity G35, I was driving down the Road, slow about 40 - this guy passed me three times, keep slowing down to get another look. Left it home today, supposed to rain.

I find it interesting that this thread is nearly 6 1/2 years old and it's still topical today.

Let's revisit it in another 6 1/2 years.
Bet it's the same story 'cept prices will be higher.

And the poster of this thread has been inactive since:

I wonder if he still has his Crossfire and what he would say today if he were to revisit this thread.
Probably would say nothing has changed but the miles on his odometer.

DJ, I hope you are right...but suspect the prices will be lower, and a lot less good ones to choose from.

Krazy, you get those wheels on yet?? Lets see some pics

And I love it when everyone says how much attention these things generate and how everyone asks what type of car it is, well I get asked almost daily what it is, but then again, it doesn't say ANYWHERE on the car....

I had a sick 03 cobra which was very fast, looked mean, sounded mean, nice yellow color and it got A LOT of attention but from mostly gearheads now crossfire, WOW, everyone turns and looks at it.

No BS here, I went to my gfriends family christmas get together, almost everyone who walked in the door asked whose car is that and i started to feel bad because i am no high maintenance / cool guy nor wealthy, live in a small apartment but the car made me look like i was some kind of celebrity LOL. (between you and me, felt pretty damn good)

by the way, a friend of mine asked "what is that thing sticking at the back of the car, it wasnt there yesterday?" I said, "the car is just like us, after bunch of compliments, got a boner. it happens alot, don't worry about it"

Actually there are at least 3 SRT's in Wilson county. Mine, Smokey's and another Aero Blue one. I've seen black roadster SRT in Nashville as well.
