Jeremy Clarkson...
Hello, everyone--
I assume I can speak for the group of Crossfire owners when I declare that we simply don't take too kindly to Jeremy Clarkson's video review. I've watched it many times, and because of my background as a professional actor, I've studied him extensively (appearance, accent, gestures, etc.). Seeing that I have some time off this summer, coupled with the latest purchase of my '05 Crossfire (the video's true star!), I've been entertaining the idea of creating a video spoof of his review and was hoping to get some feedback from members as to whether or not you would like to see this proposed project become a reality.
It would be a great deal of fun creating my vision of this "character," (Germy Clarksville), complete with short-cropped unruly White Man's Afro and wardrobe.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Monty

Don't forget the white trash teeth! And make random, subtle comments at how everything non-American has a richer heritage and seemingly more significance.
My good british friend, one whom I grew up and played rugby with, still jokes that pubs and other buildings back home have support beams (wood) that are "older than your country". What the hell is their problem? Let it go already!
Also study for some material the latest Ultimate Fighter pitting the british against the americans in a MMA reality show. Funny as hell.

I looked on the tube, and found a few already, But it would not hurt to add one of your own

I find Top Gear very entertaining. Jeremy Clarkson and company are kind of like the Three Stooges but with an automotive bent. The real stars of that show have 4 wheels!

Old, or should it be outdated, is not always better.
I like the Top Gear and I find Clarkson amusing.
I think perhaps some people are a little over sensitive. The show is primarily entertainment and I actually found the review pretty funny - it is worth remembering that when Top Gear tested the Crossfire/TT/350z convertibles against each other Clarkson picked the Crossfire as the one he liked best.

`Very true - they also have places where hot water is only available a few hours a day and electricity in some homes that can not handle running more than one light bulb at a time.

You must be thinking of West Virginia.

I lived there for twenty five years, we had no trouble except for when the bombs fell. If you went to New Orleans you will find similar conditions three years after Katrina, you do not have to leave the US to find all sorts of troubles.
Top Gear takes the pi$$ out of anyone and anything that can get a laugh. On one of the latest shows they were driving three US cars at Bonneville, they loved them, next week maybe not, who cares, its all a laugh and we need a smile now and then.
I love Jeremy and the show....Try to watch as many episodes that I can...So he says the Crossfire looks like a dog taking a poo....So what....It's humorous and I wish we have more shows like that.
