Is that right that the design of the crossfire is down to a chap from somewhere in the midlands UK ??

The concept car was designed by Eric Stoddard with further refinement by Andrew Dyson.

Close,but no cigar. Actually It's my understanding that his name was Chip or maybe it was Chops..anyway he was from somewhere in the wetlands up state.

If he came from the wetlands I would guess you mean Slops not Chip or Chops. I think he designed a hide for duck hunting, but thats just a blind guess.
