T-tops anyone?
Looking over the coupe it looks like it would be an easy add on to have T-tops installed. Has anyone heard of such a thing? A sunroof is kind of difficult due to the center notch on the roof, but T-tops sound like the next best thing. Thought of the Duel sun roofs that go over the driver and also the passenger, but not sure if the look would be right

What with Pontiac going away and all, I kind of like the idea of T-tops for the Crossfire (NOT). Sort of like a Trans Am thing eh?
I don't know how they'd hold the pistols for the duel though...

Then there's the little detail about structural integrity....

Been discussed here before. The issue with t tops is where do you stow them? Not much room. The sun roof has been done, there are 1 or 2 here that have them and yes you do sacrifice the spine. I like your idea of a split sunroof, that's a great idea.
I had them on all my Z cars and on my Corvette. I just remember the big issue is where do I stow them. I also remember the ones on my Corvette which was bought brand new always leaked.

as much as i would like a sunroof or t tops what about the structural integrity of the car and the roof. the roadster is stiffened up and has some work done to the chassis due to not having a solid roof.
Agree with you faiz. I think the way to go would be the split sunroof which would keep the center and outside of the roof intact. From a structural standpoint the best way to go. You are a 100% right that t-tops would have a serious impact on the integrity of the roof, perhaps even the passenger compartment. Personally speaking its not something I would do, either variation, because of that.
Nice idea for getting more sunshine. Bad idea for structural integrity, noise, leaking., fit/finish, etc. Risk-reward equation poor. Enjoy what you have or trade up to a roadster.

All's I'm sayin is, not for nuttin' but youse could put a piece a i-beam up der in da top and brace da whole thing up. I got some left over screaming chicken decals from when I had my HO that would probably fit. It would look awesome!
