Dallas to Los Angeles, top down.
Great idea.
My longest top down trip....
Coming home from the Dragon last fall. Fontana to St Louis thru Indianapolis 550 miles.
Absolutely Fabulous!

While I can't talk about driving with the top down, the trips Leslie and I have taken in our '06 Limited Coupe sure make me an expert on long distance drives in the Crossfire. We have done two round trips that added 3400 miles each (Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Hendersonville,N.C. and back) plus two 2000 mile round trips to Los Angeles. All since we purchased our Crossfire in August of '08.
This is a fun road car and certainly not uncomfortable. It may not drive like a big, luxurious sedan, but then that isn't what we wanted. BTW, we are not kids. Leslie's age is a secret, but I'm soon to be 76!
FWIW, we have done those same long distance trips in our DeLorean and it is also a VERY fun road car.

More details Bro! When? How many days are you doing it in? etc, etc.
Stay safe and come join us at a DFWXfires GTG when you return and tell us about it.

Not coming back. Moving to Los Angeles.
I put my guitars, amps, clothes, and bikes on a U Haul, and I'm driving solo to the coast, where I can drive top down every day , without fear of heat stroke.
Going the dull, dull, dull I-10 route (Dallas-El Paso-Tucson-Phoenix-Los Angeles), which mostly explains why I'm leaving on a Friday after rush hour.
6th gear cruise control. Might get my first 400-mile tank of gas, though.
I'm looking at two twelve-hour sessions, witha lunch/cigar break factored in.
