Default Replacement Radio CD player

Just in case anyone else needs an upgrade... I wanted a radio/ player that had an input for my Ipod. I spent a lot of time trying to find one that sounded good ( or better than the OE) and also looked like it belongs in the console.
I ended up buying a Clarion. They have a couple of models listed for marine installs, but they have a perfect match silver face and the sound is as good if not better than the OE.
Like this one..
Amazon.com: Clarion M475 Marine CD receiver: Electronics

I did have to paint the little plastic frame that came with it, but other than that it is a great replacement.

I bought a London MP48. Plug and play and didn't have to mess with the wires. The face is the same silver too. Only problem is when I use the front Aux jack. If I turn the radio or car off it defaults back to the radio when it comes back on. I have to always turn the front aux jack back on. Drives me crazy! Does your radio do that? Do you use the rear ipod aux jack?

Nope..stays on whatever you select as a source until you change it back.
I'm using the front AUX input socket..I don't think it has one in the rear of the unit.

I think it is a bad design with my radio. Any Blaupunkt radio owners have the problem I do?
