Default Rattling under Glove Box

Lately, I have been hearing a very annoying rattling under the Glove Box. It happens randomly and even happens when the engine is not on, they key is just turned to the on position, right before ignition. Then I turn the car on and it continues for some time, then dissappears. It happens once in a while and I do not know what it is. Can anybody help? I have an 05' Coupe Limited. Thanks!

It is the AC flap behind the dash. It is broken or it is in the process of breaking. I had that problem and the dealer fixed it. Others had the same problem. It is a 500 dollar job. But the worst part about it... the whole dash needs to come apart. The center console needs to be removed and the dash needs to slide back towards the seat in order for them to get back there and fix it.

Is that the Crack Pipe you were trying to clean in another thread?

I am telling you... it is that flap in the dashboard. I had the problem for a long time. It went away and came back... then it got worse. It sounds like something is moving back there. You here a bunch of clunks. It happened for me mostly when I was turning the AC on and off. I would here it for a few seconds and then it would stop.
