Soon to be owner of a 2004 Blaze Red Coupe!
Make sure that one of the first things you do before you head back to TX is the Cruise Control. You really can't feel the speed in this car, and the fact that it is RED (mine is as well) makes it stand out on the highway - words of experience here.
I had to do several drives from Houston to the Tx/Mx border, and another thing I suggest is definitely taking more than the typical 5-minute stop tp gas up and get another coffee: for one, most likely someone will talk to you about the car, and two, while these cars are comfortable, at least in my own experience, you WILL feel the ride in your lower back.

Just made it back a few minutes ago guys. Trip was great. The Crossfire was an absolute joy, loved every minute. The car is in beautiful shape, with only 7,015 miles. (well now with 8,300) lol. The seller was a great guy. Only issue was the top trim piece over the windshield damn near came off after some spirited driving, lol. Shouldnt be a hard fix. I'll try and get some pics posted tomorrow.
Was finally able to get a few pics shot this evening. At the time the trim piece broke loose I think I was doing around 85mph. The adhesive has gotten bad or something. It wont stay on above 50mph now. I am about 100 miles SW of Dallas (Hamilton County). To be honest I didnt think red was the color I wanted but now I couldnt imagine it any other way.
