I read in another thread that the luggage pieces have serial numbers. Since I just bought 2 of the 3 SRT pieces, I am wondering if the 3 pieces of a luggage set have matching serial numbers? If so, I know I'll never find the matching duffel.

 

I'll let you know as soon as mine arrive from Ebay. Can't wait!

WHERE ON THE WHEEL BAG IS IT LOCATED?

 

It's on a flap on the inside. And that wheeled bag is damn nice piece of kit, too! I can't wait to take a trip someplace just for an excuse to use it.

 

I looked at the number of the new SRT bag I received and it does have an ID #. I do not believe it is a serial # that matches an SRT6, just an id #. The reason I say that is because the # is 500001776. Too many numbers. I will check the SRT6 bag I have at home which came with my SRT to see if it matches my serial #.

I will correct this post if I am incorrect.

 

The number is just a serial number for the luggage. You register it with the tracking firm and they help you recover it if found (after being lost)

There's only a serial number on the roller and it is for returning the bag if registered and lost. It's the only one of the three bags that has the tag. I wouldn't put much faith in this Chrysler dept still functioning after bankruptcy.

On the other hand, I received my two sets last week. I was surprised to see the SRT6 pieces had the SRT6 badge, like the one on the back of the car. I did not know what to expect -- I think I was expecting something embroidered or silkscreened.

Anyway, I 'm just pleased to have a set for each XF (I did receive a set with my roadster purchase).

 

The registration goes to TRG - the manufacturer of the luggage.
