How big was the crowbar then!, My dealer is saying nothing but that does sound about right for delivery times.

Have they said if they are allowing test drives?. I guess with them all sold why bother?.

The 2000 cars, is that the total number for 2004 including the 610 already sold?.

Soon , Soon, Soon.

Default ,,,

Mark thats a real quote 1100 for me ouch!

No crowbar and yes you can drive the demo in fact i'm booked in as soon as it arrives

I think thats 2000 from april 2004 - 2005 but that is 2/3 of the european allowance and i'm wary of that

The dealer was only meant to get 3 between now and april but now have 15

15 cars from 3! , where does the figure of 610 Vehicles come from?. Makes you wonder if they have been a bit grafty with the figures and the 610 was for 2003 delivery??

Sent this off to customer services today so i'll be patient for the reply,I'll post if I receive one.

I ordered a crossfire in Dec 02 and I am still waiting to find out price, spec and date of delivery. My dealer cannot give me this information so who do I contact?
For a car due out in Nov I find this a rather relaxed attitude towards a customer.
I should imagine that the majority of crossfire owners have not bought from chrysler/jeep before (looking at the carpark at the preview event) so is this the way to be treating us.You do not get this sort of customer service from merc, audi, porsche who are your main rivals in this sector.

Good on you, it is crazy that we are not being told. They are not exactly giving us much time to sort out Finance, Insurance quotes [ that may be interesting???] etc.

P.S, Had a mad moment and just reserved the number plate V6 CXF , just to add a little more sparkle to the Purchase.

Also concidered X6 FRE. www.newreg.com if anyone is interested, have a huge selection.

Good news to know when the Demos are out!

Took a look at www.newreg.com and found 1 XF on sale for 17,995!!! any takers?

I get my Graphite/Auto in December, would like to drive the Manual to see how it is.

Again, same story my dealer at Swindon doesn't have much info for me.

Oh by the way, has anyone asked if we get the luggage free as well?

Last thing, check out Auto Express this week as they have a great review(but short) of the first UK spec(albeit LHD) xfire car

Chris.

Some bugger must have pipped me at the post, I got told today that the reg wasn't available. So I went for nearest cheeky One. V8 CXF.

PowellC, so you must have been the last one in Swindon to get the allocation from Dick Lovatt. Well done but no offence hope you live in Cirencester????. I was the 2nd.

Get My SSB 6 Speed in November.

Cheers

Hi adf3786, I'm number 4 on the list at Swindon, put my deposit down in June!

I live in Chippenham so hopefully there aren't anyone else that has bought one there!

Have you requested any info on finance yet?

Chris.

Autobytel seems to know more than chrysler.
It has price and spec inc luggage.
Finance package also competitive.

Chrysler at the moment working out mine on their guesstimate of purchase price! 28500.
I've offered 10k down with final balloon of 9k over 48 months,no penalty for early settlement with chrysler advance finance.

Still no reply from customer services!

Not to make you Brits feel bad, but take a look at Carmax.com for Crossfires at the Orlando area. Several thousand off the sticker price!!!

Just got an insurance quote from DirectLine

I'm 24 with 3years NCD and my current insurance runs out in Febuary. To be covered from November to Febuary will be between 100 - 140. Then in Febuary a years cover would be around 900.

I'm pretty pleased about these figures and has lifted my spirits until it arrives.

I will most likely get SMARTNAV intalled which will be important in keeping the quote down.

I got a quote of 750.00 which didnt seem too bad from directline. Although they had to price it against an SLK 3.2?@~:{}@~.

Will get final figures in a week or so.

PowellC glad to hear you live in Chippenham!, especially my wife who thinks I'll be down Macdonalds car park wearing an Anorack disccussing the quality of the Stiching in the Leather with other owners???

Any details released yet Gordon on official specs of UK car. I guess the way it is going, we will see when they arrive??.

Got excited today after my Dealer rang saying they had a brochure in for the Crossfire. raced down there to find it was a reprint of the article in CAR magazine. Great write up anyway so what the hell!
