Just bought an '04 coupe
Im happy to report we now have another cool car in our family. We purchased an 04 coupe - Graphite Metallic with Cedar / Graphite interior. The car was carfax clean and has 27k miles. We got it for 12.4k which was a bit more than I wanted to spend but locally here in central TX there are not many. We also purchased a 4 / 48 extended warranty. The car unfortunately has no owners manual and 1 key. When I search for manuals (eBay) they seem to range in price up to 240.00! Is ther any differnce say in an 04 - 05 that would make me purchase an 04 specific manual? 04 manuals are harder to find and for some reason cost more. How many manuals were there with the car? Seems I see addendums etc.
What is the best way t get a key? It appears there are places online that sell them uncut for about $160-180. Who can cut these keys? Do I really need to go to Chrysler and order one (via Germany) and wait a few weeks?
Thanks,

Congrats on your new purchase!! We have had more than a few XF "deaths" recently. One of those owners might have a manual that you could pick up. Now that you have one you should hit the Dragon in the fall!
I don't know about the key, but I picked up an '04 Owners Manual off ebay for around $20. My original had coffee or hot chocolate spilled all through it. Check this link: http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=cro...nual&_osacat=0
I see one for $35 and one for $45. Be patient.

PS you can download a PDF copy of it in the SRT section to get you by until you find one. HERE:http://www.majormotorshotrods.com/_d...27s_Manual.pdf

If I'm not mistaken, a Member of the Forum was good enough and kind enough to put all of the manuals in a PDF Format for your printing pleasure. He also up-loaded the NAV CD's so you can burn 'em at home; a $1,405 item from the dealer!
So do a search, find what you need, and thank this good man for all of us again when you're finished.
Regards.

Here is the link for alot of manuals, and our 04' is on the list. I just downloaded them to my desk top, just in case I might ever need to look something up.

You should be able to purchase a second key from a Chrysler dealership (with your VIN) for about $130-140. It is laser cut for your vehicle. The programming instructions are in the forum -- do a search. They are super simple steps.
