People hate it?
MB and Chrysler divorced, its part MB, part Chrysler, no longer made or supported by either company. It was cancelled before it was really refined into something even more awsom than it is now...if they only knew what we know...but they don't, so we just keep surprising them....even yrs down the road, these little beauties will still be kickin' butt...
Everybody hates everything. You can find bad reviews of almost any car, even Ferraris and Lambos. I love my Crossfires and don't really care what anyone else thinks.
I was at a car show this weekend and a guy that had a base soltice, pretty full of himself, walked over to my car and basically humphed and rolled his eyes. Doesnt bother me cause for every one response I get like that I get several other positives ie; "You're the neighbor that owns that exotic sports car?!", Cool car...reminds me of my hot wheels cars, looks kinda like a mercedes, how fast will that thing go?!

Considering the short time reviewers seem to have with the cars they review, it seems to be mostly about initial perception and expectations.
I remember watching an episode of "Speed" where a Crossfire (cannot remember if it was a N/A or SRT) was pitted against an Audi TT and a BMW (Z3 I think, not sure) in the UK. They drove on different terrain, ending with a spectacular dash on a beach(!). The 3 drivers had 3 different perceptions, and ended up having 3 different choices for best drive (strangely enough, the most experienced driver of the lot chose the XF...)

The harder it is to find the good ones, the more they'll want one.
I love mine! Thats all that counts!
I don't give a royal rip what anyone else thinks, their happiness is none of my concern.
Drive one, make up your own mind. You'll be glad you did!

if you look at the reviews from the first year or so, car magazines loved the crossfire for the most part. IMO in the world of today there are not many cars that will end up being classics, but the Crossfire is one of them, not because it's rare but because it's original
I have NEVER come across anyone who hasn't said how much they love my car. Perfect strangers go out of their way to compliment it.
I don't know what it takes for someone to qualify as a "reviewer", but I never listen to them. How many times have movies been bashed that are great? Listen to your heart - we all know what the world is missing.

As for people hating this car. In the few days I've owned it and researched online, it seems that some people out there actually HATE the car, a hate that normal people would direct at theives or child molestors. Some people stating they'd rather drive (insert horrid old car here) than sit in a Crossfire.
As green ghost said, for every person that hates your Crossfire, you get ten people that compliment how nice it is.
