Key wobbles in the ignition.

I did a search and didn't find much. My key sits very, very loose in the ignition on my 05 Roadster. It moves a great deal up and down as well as side to side. I'm afraid it will quit working all together. Something must have broken in the lock cylinder.

Any thoughts?

Mines loose too, don't worry so much. You can always fit a Yale lock I guess.

maybe I'm not understanding, but is the key moving or the entire switch

mine is loose sometimes but it is just the key not locked out straight

I looked at it really close and the part that the key sits in is moving. Don't know if that's the lock cyl itself or not but it can't be good.
All I need is to get stranded somewhere in Texas over a stupid thing like this.
