Just come back from the Dealer to see it in the flesh.....GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!.

I have been told approximate ETA 20/11/03. fingers crossed.

Harry, I understand that there will be delivery of orders placed first on the list during the next 10 days. Mine will arrive in the next batch around the end of the month. I understand also that the first delivery cars are in the country, now.

first few cars for each dealer have landed delivery starts next week, 2nd batch due to v late Nov or early Dec delivery. Drives fantastic if you haven't gone for your 1st drive what the hell are you wainting for!

Dealer car arrived but they had there launch at a Hotel, With food, Wine Etc.
So they could.t let people drive it today in anycase
But not to worry Thursday is booked and I'm sure i will be delighted.
When you say 1st Orders. My deposit was paid in June, Does that make me one of the first batch or not.????

1st cars were booked by people over 12 months ago, i booked in may and i think i'm 4 or 5 on this list! at a guess your car will be mid december

 

Drove the demo on saturday I like it. Picking mine up on wednesday afternoon cant wait. Just sorted the insurance out boy was that a nightmare nobody knows what it is yet best quote was from tesco �’597.14 fully comp with 5 yrs no claims �’250 excess had a couple of companies that said they wouldnt insure us dunno why Im 34 and the girlfriend is 33

 

Took my car out of the showroom today for a test drive, couldn't fault it. The only problem is they have only got my car and will not release it until another arrives as they would not have a car to display to other potential customers. They are trying hard to get me on the road so can't fault the dealer only Chrysler for not organising themselves properly. As for the car it drives like a dream, took it on motorway, main and secondary roads and it handles much better than Tiff Needell suggested in his report last night, what a plonker he is! Hope to be on the road by Thursday night and can't wait to be one of few in the swim. Incidentally I ordered mine in February and went from fifth to first in the list as the guy in first place changed his mind on buying. Hope you all get your cars soon and start to enjoy them.

 

When I bought mine it was the only one the dealer had and I walked in... bought it and drove it home that day! There's no way I would have let them keep my car and let other people grope it!

 

Chris, something is not right! Your dealer received your car, not a demo or .... but YOUR car that you ordered months ago. I think that the dealer has no right to keep it back because he don't have another car to show. Indeed it is Chryslers problem but why do you have to deal with it?

I understand you want to keep a good relation with your dealer. Still you pay (alot) so you must be demanding not the dealer.

I hope its locked when people view it as i wouldn't like it if people are sitting in it and messing with the controls,that is what a demonstrator is for not a customers car.

 

Would you go to an art dealer and buy a painting, then leave it there so the dealer wouldn't have a bare place on his wall???
