Went to Asheville, NC for vacation last week and had a great time sightseeing in the local area. Made time on the way back to swing through and ride the Tail of the Dragon - had a great time! Did the run on a Thursday in the middle of the day. Not a lot of car traffic - but a lot of bikes. Two TN State Troopers at the end of the bridge coming down the hill with their radar guns on - good thing I resisted the urge to open up a little.

On the way back Saturday morning, caught up with a black, Limited, Ky plates - we ran together for a while in between Mt Vernon, IL and St Louis - anyone from the forum?

Wish I could make the gathering in Oct - probably too much going on at work to make the trip. Hope everyone has a good and safe run.

These cars were built for the dragon. Really had a good time when I went there. Ran the Great River Road from Dubuque to Prairie du Chien on both sides this weekend. About as close as we can come to the dragon anywhere near here.
