I'm looking for discount mailorder vendors of OEM Chrysler parts since my local dealership was one of many closed during the bankruptcy.

I see Mopar Parts Dealer - Mopar Accessories, Dodge & Jeep & Chrysler & Plymouth Performance Parts, wholesalemopar.com and other similar sites that fairly obviously use the same search engine.

Any favorite discount sites? And/or good or bad experiences with the above?

For aftermarket parts I routinely go to Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto and eBay, and for MB parts I'd probably first try Mercedes Parts and Accessories – Mercedes Wheels, Car Covers, Floor Mats, Steering Wheels and More from Performance Products: .

Others -- know of discount mailorder dealers of OEM XF parts?

 

I've used OE Discount Parts with excellent results. This dealership has both Chrysler and Mercedes franchises, and the parts guy who manages the on-line parts division cross references Chrysler part numbers with Mercedes parts, and lets you know in advance if the Mercedes part cost less.

yes we have mostly aftermarket on our website but we can get any oem chrysler or mercedes parts at discounts. we dont list all the oem stuff or it would be never ending so if you know what your looking for feel free to shoot a list over and ill get evevrythign quoted for you.

 

So far, Mike at OE Discount Parts has been excellent! Just placed my first order. Free ground UPS with $50+ orders, but you must select it in checkout.

He found the MB equivalent part numbers for all my items, and they were all at least a little bit cheaper, to much lower cost on a few.

Sign up for an account there, then send him messages through their system under the My Account link. They e-mail you when a response is posted (maybe in a day or two if he's busy).

9/26/09 Update: Mike found all the OEM parts including the washer tank, packed them well, and shipped them fast by free UPS Ground! Highly recommended.
