Default The last ride

Well gang, I just got back from what is probably the last drive of the season. We're supposed to get a pretty good snowstorm tonight. I understand my homeboys in NJ are getting hammered right now. Went down past the beach, stopped and toasted the end of the season, took a ride through Wickford village, then home. Once the salt trucks come out, the baby gets put away. Kind of strange as winter has always been my favorite time of year, love the cold weather, but I'm allready looking forward to spring and driving season. I guess I'll have to drive viCARiously via our friends on the board in warmer climes. Oh, by the way, anyone had any thoughts on making a dead pedal? My other car has one and I really miss it in those "high performance" corners. :) Ride easy,Cliff

Yes, looking out the window is depressing. My car goes to the shop on Monday to get the key marks repaired, and my insurance company is getting me a Cherokee as a rental. This is the time of the year when I really miss going to school in Florida...

Snowing like crazy here in Ct. Crossfire is all set for hibernation and I'm back to driving the Jeep GC. Longing for spring already.
