At least she (they ?) avoided drilling holes to mount the front plate. That should be a crime in my books!!

Some people just don't value what they have.

To many people, a car is just a car, or a form of transportation. When the lease is up, go get another, and do the same thing.

WOW! My cars are MINT compared to that one!
You should have went over to the owner and DEMANDED she hand the keys over!

Then sell it to me so I can do my supercharged V8 swap into it!

Or tell her to at least swap her car for a BLACK crossfire. Then it wouldn't be so bad!

Hahaha. What's funny is I saw the exact same thing here in Florida. A blue coupe driven by a woman with its front rims covered in brake dust. To top it off she was holding up traffic at a stop light because of some homeless guy asking for money.

As much as we all covet our Crossfires, we do have to realize that some people look at cars (even these) as mere transportation. Stylish transportation, but nothing more. Thank god im not one of those people! I have (which my GF thinks is insane) my tire shine and brake dust rags in the cargo area to wipe down the rims after alot of braking. The above pic makes me cringe.

Well dang I better get those Rotex pads for my car, because I'm guilty of break dust as well!!! It just can't be helped most the time.... unless you are cleaning the rims every time you drive, but, no DENTS!!! yikes ... I better watch out for the Crossfire patrol! LOL JK Hey good idea s40..... I will have to keep a cloth in tow to do just that!!
And Thank GOD I don't live in a state that makes us have front Tags on the car... I HATE to drills holes in the front bumper!!!

Our car's brake pads really blow! I clean my car once a week, and by that 7th day, the fronts are pathetic. Can't wait to replace them with cleaner looking pads when the time comes.

yeah it looks kinda rough and I also hate to see someone have such a nice car and not appreciate it; but folks, there could be more to this than meets the eye. Perhaps she's going through tough financial or family matters that are more of a priority. Maybe she has none to help her put that plate on right. She's probably like most of us and doing the best she can with what she has right now.

At least it isnt another smart car

Yeah I have a couple small door dings and two drilled holes in front bumper(Cali car originally) but dang look at that dent. If I couldnt pay to have fixed I would atleast take inner fender cover off and bang on it till it is atleast a decent eye sore .I too have brake dust...hate cleaning all these spokes with q-tips but I have an admitted pet peeve of driving around in a dirty car.....because when you finally wash it...it's like a brand new car

~ oh no - this girl was a knock out and money was not lacking to keep herself and her accessories in top condition ... but personal hygiene may be another issue.

My sister is like this girl. She always has nice cars and they are always a freaking wreck. She eats in them, smokes in them, gets them kicked by horses, etc. She was in my car (Honda) last weekend and managed to exploded a giant tub of cheese *****. I am still finding cheese ***** in my car. She didn't think it was a big deal & I wanted to kill her! Some people just don't get it - I would DIE before I let my car look like that. I've washed my car in 35F (really cold for us) to keep it from going to bed dirty.

My Crossfire is only dirty after a track day and it's first outing afterwards is the car wash. Now, my other car looks like a golfball and only gets washed every 3 or 4 months. Maybe the Crossfire is her "other" car and the Ferrari is at the dealer .... again.

I've seen one much worse than that. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera. It was a red roadster:

looked liked it had never been washed
torn top
broken headlamp
front bumper looked like it had hit a few curbs

When I saw it, I said exactly that "some people don't deserve a crossfire"

some people dont have time to wash their cars every 3 days... thats about how long it takes my fronts to get like that. Just because her rims are dusty doesnt mean she doesnt deserve the car lol take it easy man

Those rims take less than a minute to clean. The only reason I wish I still had my first crossfire is because the srt rims are a pain in the a%% to clean. There should be no excuse for that. But you can't really say anything about the dent. Maybe she got it on the way there or maybe its going in tomorrow to get it fixed. Did you look on the inside of the car?

I would never let my wheels get that dirty. How we maintain our cars is a direct reflection of who we are as people. I would no sooner let my wheels get that dirty than I would work under a car all day and then go out for the evening without taking a shower and changing clothes. Now don't get me wrong.... I am not totally **** about car cleanliness, just as I like to wear jeans and casual clothes instead of a suit and tie all the time. I have been know to wear a baseball cap, just because I did not want to do something with my hair. So, yes..... cars get dirty..... sometimes we don't have the time to ensure that our cars are meticulous, but I think there is a line that we as individuals have to set as to what is too much. That line will be different for each of us, but it will speak volumes to others as to our personal standards.
