Default Almost Lost My Car To The Rain Today

Every body wanted rain... 3 weeks later I can't even park at work! Just look at this picture, I almost lost the car to water damage today! 2 more inches and today would have been the worse day of my life. I still had to get wet to move my car to higher ground. This is at Fort Hood, Tx.

The rain HAS been unreal! I'm glad your car survived.

We were very lucky that it was dry for the TMS event.

You need to pull up onto the grass it's not flooded!
While stationed in New Orleans we had 24" of rain in 24 hours. My cars were parked on the slanted driveway and were in danger of getting flooded. I went out in the rain with my floor jack and raised the rear of both cars.
It worked! Saved 'em both!

Heheh, you should put your car on some cynderblocks or something to keep them above the water.

Cold arctic air? We still have some but it is finally going away. I'm still happy to share.
