Default Help Please!!!

ok so my serpentine belt broke off, no biggie i went down to my local autozone and bought a new. But im having a difficult time trying to put it on. I found the diagram on how to route it, but i can't figure out what size socket goes on the tensioner.I bought the serpentine tool kit but none of the sockets fit it. Please someone help me!!!!!!!!!!

on the code3 (supercharger pulley replacement) instructions, it says the tensioner requires an E11 Torx socket

I don't have my car at home rught now or I would check for you. I just had to do this and it is a socket and not a torx. I think it was a 16 or 17mm socket. If you have a full regular metric socket set you should find one that will fit. A socket, short extention and a 3/8 rachet is all you need. no special tensionor kit is required.

I used an E10 socket with a 2 foot bar.

I use an E10 on a regular 3/8 wrench. But I usually remove the fan too. I believe that the socket that locks the E10 on the tensioner is a 17mm.
