My chevy 350 project worked out fine.im just routing the exhaust next week.i repositioned the steering dampner used a canton racing s10 oil pan and had to add a hood scoop ,which i wanted to do anyway.most Crossfire owners love the apperance, and out on the street she does get looks.just the limited has all the retro looks ,and from some angles even better than more exspensive cars so why not just use the looks ,styling and chassy ,suspension and just add the motor that really gives it that retro feel ,and more importantly the hard core cam and header sound.i know the chevy motor runs forever hits 600hp all motor and by cutting out computers youll drop another 300 to 400 lbs.Face it once you start swapping motors youll only ever be able to sell it to a hardcore motor head that buys by the ET.youll proably never sell once youre done.
