Is That?
Is that the car on Top Gear the other night?
It's official CLARKSON IS AN ***.
People have stopped me,when they can,to ask and are left in amusement at his comments, everyone thinks its amazing.
The ones that haven't said they've seen the programme (I dont fill them in) are amazed that the car can be bought in this country and is not a one off project .
It's a CHRYSLER?
YES

I agree.
All I can do is question his judgement, and shrug off all the digs I'm currently getting.
By the way did he get the 0-60 figure wrong, I'm sure he said 7.2secs, the manual says 6.5!

DC literature says 6.5. Most tests I've seen have it 6.4 to 6.7.
Edmund's, and now apparently Clarkson, both have it at 7.2
Doesn't really mean much. Most of us don't do to our cars that which is needed to get optimal 0-60 times. My guess is that neither Edmund's nor Clarkson really did the optimal times.
I have the most respect for R & T. In their tests they describe exactly the technique they find for each car to get optimal times.

Yes, R&T does have good explanations on how they get their 0-60 times which I have found to be very helpful.
What I usually look for is the RPM at which they drop the hammer on, usually gives a good insight into the optimal torque vs. tire traction to get a good take-off rather than just painting the road with rubber.
