The local dealer here has two he would like to sell, new 2008, marked down to about $26,000, still some left on lots, also should be a bunch coming off of lease soon.

2008? I thought 07 was the last production year.

Chrysler dumped all the dealers with Crossfires left on the lot.

Here's the September sales (when I bought mine).

My guess, they just stopped counting.

As to the above post at $28 k for what's still out there, I paid $23 k.

----- ------- ----- ------ ------- ----- ------
Sebring 1,451 5,450 -73% 17,431 61,428 -72%
300 3,411 4,287 -20% 29,322 51,807 -43%
Crossfire 127 113 12% 499 1,566 -68%
PT Cruiser 258 2,410 -89% 16,760 42,345 -60%
Aspen 143 1,313 -89% 5,852 17,681 -67%
Pacifica 45 544 -92% 1,955 5,621 -65%
Town & Country 3,611 9,229 -61% 61,715 95,287 -35%

If the foregoing did not print as a table, the figures are 127 in September, 113 for sept the year earlier, 12% increase, 499 ytd, 1566 for 2008 ytd through Sept. 2008.

I wonder about that data for '09. They no longer make the magnum and it had 0 sales, so no longer making the XF may rep 0 sales as well...

They may be hard to spot. Cars.com won't let you search for new Crossfires. Some of the "used" Crossfires there show up as "new" on other sites like autotrader.com.

Not true. There were close to 2000 / 2008 models made. Back me up Chris.

According to wikipidia...

On November 1, 2007, Chrysler announced that, as part of its restructuring plans, the Chrysler Crossfire would be one of four models discontinued after the 2008 model year.

The last Crossfire rolled off of the assembly line on December 17, 2007.

2003 = 35,700
2004 = 28,000
2005 = 12,500
2006 = 4,805
2007 = 2,000

Note: Cars produced in one calendar year may be marketed as the following model year.

Zero X-Fire sales last month makes sense to me when considering time of year, no incentives on the vehicle and Chrysler's overall dismal sales month for Nov.

All new car sales, whether discontinued models or not, would have been
included in the count.
