Default "Rosey" just turned 100K !

It's been a little over two years now and over 50K that I personally put on this car and the " Luv Affair " is still on !
Just for grins I thought I'd give Rosey a lil present to comemorate the Big 100K and had her tranny oil and filter changed. WOW ! What a difference new oil makes ! The trans is shifting better than it ever has and even chirps the wheels goin into second gear ! Course the nice cool 38 degree air in Central Texas right now may have a bit to do with that .

Wow!
That's more than twice what I have on either of my cars.
Hope that they make it to 100k someday!

It is going to get a lot colder tonight! My fire is sitting in the warm garage covered in a blanket!

I wish I had that luxury ! Rosies a daily driver, 60 mile commute each day to work and back. Then there's my weekend pleasure cruises when the weather is too crappy for the Harley !

Congrats Stogey! 100k and Rosey just got a "face lift". It's good to see us daily drivers holding up. Mine just flipped over to 60K today.

Congrats on the milestone Stogey. It's barely broken-in.

Congrats, mine just hit 50,000 last week. I put 14,000 miles on it in about a year, I don't think I have ever driven that much in a year before.

Hey Stogey,

During those 100k miles, what types of issues and replaced parts have you and Rosey endured? Would be nice to have a list of things for us to keep an eye out for during the first 100k miles with our cars.

BC.

Hey no problem !

Relay Control Module - replaced - dreaded Mystery No Start
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - replaced - had no control over wing
Crankshaft Vibration Dampner - replaced - came apart at the rubber insulator

That's it for my part ! The rest has been normal maintenance, tires and oil !

I'm just about 40 miles away from being out of warranty...that means the not-so-big 80k. Mine is also a daily driver in about a 60mile loop. I am nervous about to going out of warranty though. So far the word is good that these are pretty solid cars. Rumor of no major issues up through 100k...very reassuring.

Avoid Deers as well. Sorry, just had to throw that in Congratulations Stogey. Glad to see that people are enjoying their cars and not afraid to put a few miles on them.

At the rate I'm racking up miles, I'll be at 100k miles in June 2042 Gotta change my driving habits a bit, or my car might outlive me.

Based on the last four years, it will be another 32 years before my Crossfire hits 100K. I'll be 94 then. I hope the car lasts that long.
