Default My car in high school yearbook!

Ok i am 16 and in 10th grade. There are 2,500 people at my high school and out of that 1,200 drive there. Their are BMW's and Mercedes, but my Crossfire was chosen the nicest and most unique car their. They are featuring it in my high school yearbook. I am meeting with the yearbook staff this afternoon for questions about the car and for pictures with the car. It beat out 1,200 other cars for the top car spot, I love my car!

Thanks for sharing and congratulations on promoting our fantastic secret My High school car was a 1958 Cheverolet Impala Convertable (in 1961). Try to keep your Crossfire and you won't regret it. I also wish I would have held onto my 1962 Corvete, but that is another story !!!

Congrats! Your car is definitely nicer than the '69 Chevy Impala 2 door that I drove for most of high school. Although making out was easier in that car and it could haul 8 in the front and 10 in the trunk!

Make sure you represent the car well by giving them lots of info. Most people don't know it is a Mercedes under the hood. This car represents the Chrysler-Mercedes merger and there is a lot of history behind the machine. When people look at it they think American made Chrysler.... they don't know it was born in the Karmann plant. They also don't know it is capable of speeds above 150 MPH Or how smooth the ride is at that speed I had a Mustang GT mess with me on the interstate (posted speed limit is 70). We can blow them out of the water when it comes to top speed.... left him in the dust. Mustangs and Camaros may be fast cars doing 0-60 but they can never catch up to us in the long haul!

Most people don't know what Karmann is much less where. They'll probably think it's associated with Carmen Sandiego.

Lucky dog, if I had a Crossfire in high school, I probably would have never left. I'd still be cruising and hanging out at DQ.

Congratulations on having the top dog at your school!

My daughter was on the yearbook staff and her BLACK SRT was the center page with her sitting in the car with the top down and the lambo doors up. Memories in 30 years.

She better make a lot of money cause her kids are gonna be givin her lots of crap and wanting her BLACK SRT.

Congrats! Believe me when I say that in 20 years you'll look at that photo and say "Damn, I wish I still had that car".

I always thought B.M.O.C. meant Big Man on Campus.
I guess now-a-days it stands for, Big Man Owns Crossfire.
Congrats!

Thanks everyone. They got a few pictures of me in it and some of it alone. They asked me all about it and I told everything I know. I told about mercedes and everything. They said they were going to use a Mazda rx8 until they saw the XF. I am not sure when I will get a copy of the pictures but the yearbook will come out in may. And it's silver blue not black or red

Wow what high school do you go to? My high school a 2000 bmw was the most expensive car by far and my 87 camaro iroc was the fastest. and that was only like 2 years ago. How did you get your crossfire at 16? I hope you appreciate it

haha sweet! I'm on the same boat as you! For my senior year that I owned the crossfire I got the nicest car on the lot and a trophy to go along with it. (Keep in mind teachers cars were also a part of the contest).
