Default A question for othe UK owners

Just wondering which type of unleaded are you lot are using. I started of with Optimax but now using BP Ultimate. Do you worry about mixing different types or stick to one type?

Hi Mark,
we have the same car Red.Auto.Two Tone Gray.I will use any fuel as long as its premiun grade.
I think they are all much the same these days, I think in europe there is some difference ,so will have to watch what i put in over there .
These engines are pretty robust I have had them in a few Mercs.
Regards
JJ

BP ultimate, its hard to say of course but It just seems to drive slightly better with Ultimate. There is definetly a difference between regular 95 octane and the 'super' brands of min 98 Octone.

Hi Mark hope things are good!

I use any mainstream barnd Shell / BP / Total (not Q8 or safeway) but i won't pay the extra for optimax tried it in my BMW made no difference and cost loads more. The Xfire runs fine ona mix of Total / Shell at present so no plans to change.....might try a tank or 2 of proper super unleaded just for a laff.
