STOLE it for $11K.

Patience paid off. God gave me the perfect seller, perfect car, perfect deal. I'm a happy camper.
Wow JHM2K, you purchased my identical car for exactly 1/2 the price I paid for mine brand new 5 years ago on (April 1st. 05).

As far as the SRT vs NA question, If I was your age again, I probably would have went with an SRT, since I was more into "drag" racing back then, and to me that's what the SRT is. A Sports/Muscle car.
But now, (after owning my 6spd.) and also owning another Mopar (comparable to most any modded SRT6's performance in everyway) I prefer my Crossfire. So much so infact, I haven't driven my Dodge even once since the Crossfire showed up. Like Pat said, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Enjoy your new car.

OK, guys, either it is because I am a old dude, or maybe its I have never seen a SRT6, much less, driven one. I have only had my 2005 limited coupe w/ 6 speed since August of 09, and I am no slouch when it comes to driving that car fast. I dont know how many times I have raced through the gears, and looked at speedometer and was doing 95 in 5th gear, scared the crapola outa this old man.
I can not imagine a crossfire being faster than the one I own, and if I did have one that was that fast, I would probably be in old dude-sport car heaven!

I have driven a lot of muscle in my 50 plus years of driving. Nothing compares to the SRT for flat out push and go. The Viper was faster but scary to control. My Barracuda was louder an possibly faster but just never could hook up right. They both could have been better with experience and added mods, but the SRT is simply a natural from the factory.
It fits your butt and your driving skills perfectly the first time. If all you want to do is jump away from a stop light faster than just about anybody, it's the best, stock, I've ever been in.

But, the NA is delightful and with the manual, can hold it's own with 95% of challengers on the average street encounter. And will match the SRT in the twisties or any road like the Dragon.

Day 3, still snowing.......there is a pile at the end of my driveway that may not melt till June. On day 1 I gave the neighbor with the $20K lawnmower a Hickory Farms gift that someone gave to me for Christmas, this morning I gave him $20, what should I give him tomorrow?

You could try this strategy. Your wife.

Not what you think. No, have your wife start shoveling. If he doesn't come out, call you something bad and do it for her. If she doesn't work something out, then you'll just have to do it yourself.

Here's how. Later, when he is doing his, and not yours, just have to shoot him.

After all, he just insulted your wife right?
Now, take the machine and do yours.

For about 15 years I had one that I could put a blade on.....but after all that time I realized I spent more time & blood putting the thing on and taking it back off in the spring than I would have just shoveling....

You get any of this in SL?

Nope! St Louis Gt a dusting to one inch. Just enough to put the Escelade fools in the ditch. I keep trying to tell them that four wheel drive only lets you go forward faster. We all have the same four wheel stop.

I can relate to your snow blade story. We bought my father a Sears snow machine back in '92. It didn''t snow for several winters after that. Yet he kept the thing tuned up and ready. Everytime we turned the key, it fired up.

When it finally did snow the damm thing wouldn't start. So I shoveled.

The next fall he took it to the shop and they fixed it for a ton of money. That following winter, same issue. It refused to run in snow. He won't let me replace it. "Darn thing, never ran, it's like brand new. How can you just throw it away." OK Pa I'll shovel today and next week you get the small engine repair guy to come make it run. He does and we are ready till it snows.

This has been going on for years. In that time I have learned two valuable lessons.
1) inantimate objects do not feel pain.
2) Stubborn old men must enjoy watching their youngsters suffer.

Last week I bought a new Troybilt for the company parking lot. Well officially that's the story I'm tellin' Dad.
