RED?
Just took delivery of my new RED Crossfire here in Lexington, SC 3 days ago..just before this ice storm hit the place! I drove it 1 day and really turned heads...I love the accent of the silver air intake against the Red body.
That is the exact reason I did not buy the red one, the silver highlights where just to much ( for me ). But I must take my hat off to DC creating a car with enough variation to please everyone
. Aside from the typical issues I read here(windy doors, an " S " fell off the back  , looking for a little rattle in the drivers door) I just have to say that I love this car.
Although I am running up the miles  , 7K in 4 months.......ugg.

I was first in-love with the black Crossfire ( defines formality, power and class )...but when I saw the Blaze Red - this car is so sexy and can be both sporty and casual...which fits my lifestyle :-) I'm happy with my blaze red and it makes head turns even at night! 8) 8) 8)
Red hasn't been a popular choice on this forum for some reason. Red was my first choice when I bought my Crossfire but when I test drove it, it had excessive wind noise so I opted for the SSB, but I really hated to leave that red beauty on the lot. My SSB has been trouble free so I guess it was fate.
When I bought mine I was originally looking for a red one. The was one dealer that had a red auto-stick and they were tacking 4k onto the sticker. As a matter of fact 4 of the 5 dealers in this area were doing the same thing. The dealer I bought from was selling at sticker and they had just gotten this alabaster beauty in on the previous Friday. Monday I drove her home and put her to bed on my garage.
Mine is the blaze red. Is there another shade of red that DC was debating using? I saw a picture of a crossfire at some autoshow that was bright red. Also one of the papers the dealer gave me has a photo of a bright red one on it, definately not the same as the blaze red.
Color is completely a personal thing. I think the SSB still looks the best on this car....
But if I had my complete choice on the color, I would have mixed in a bit more blue with the silver....

Wanted this baby from the day I saw the prototype-and I had to have the Blaze Red! I love this car! I only work 5 minutes from home so dont get to drive to work, but will take it out on the road the minute I can when I get home! Drive through town blasting Celine.
IMHO the red is AWESOME. The fact it is not fire-engine red makes it even BETTER. Extremely sophisticated (and will weather better, too). The Blaze Red is similar to the red that was on Sebring convertibles a few years ago and that has held up very well. If my dealer had had a 6-speed in red I would probably be driving Blaze. But I love my Graphite, it is as cool as a Powerbook and has Stealth Factor going for it.

I got mine Oct. 3, 2003 and my dealer was the only one in the area that wasn't tagging an extra 4k on the car. I'm very happy with the deal I got, at the time I bought it.
I looked at the black, silver, white and blaze red before I bought. I know everyone has different likes and dislikes and that's cool, but the Blaze Red, to me, was by far, the sharpest looking of the bunch. I'm thrilled with my choice, and it doesn't show minor dirt as bad as some of the others. To each his own!
