How many miles are on your Crossfire?
There will not be a next owner!
Other than that it stays in the garage during the winter. Why take the chance of some idiot ramming into it during bad weather. A few years back I had an individual ram into the back of me while I was sitting dead stopped in rush hour traffic. If that were to happen to the Xf, I am not so sure I would be able to keep my composure.

I only drive mine for pleasure. It sits for 4 months out of the year thanks to our North Coast winters, and I still average better than 9k miles per year.
When the weather is good, I can't keep my hands off it.
DRIVE your cars! Why save em for the next owner?

I personally am looking for a small excuse to drive it. "Hey honey, do we have any chips? (i know we don't) she responds, "no" and i say, "oh no, i really want to have some chips while watching this movie, i will go grab some, do you need anything else?"

Ok So what's next ? Are we gonna start telling each other what to eat, what to watch on TV, what to wear, what not to wear? I happen to "drive" my car all I want. I used to put 26,000 miles a year on brand new cars for my job. In two years they had lost a great deal of their value because of high mileage. Quite frankly I HATE driving, some of you may enjoy it but I don't care for it. I "drove" my cars that way for almost 25 years and I'm just tired of running the p i ss out of a car, I'm tired of traffic, I'm tired of dealing with the idiots on the road (of which I'm sure I'm one too). That said I love cars, I love my car and I plan to keep it in new condition for as long as I can. I also have a blast when I do take it out, its like a new car and its driven most every day. Please don't tell me I'm not having "fun" driving my car just because it doesn't have the mileage on it you think it should. I would also add that I have no problem with those of you that have a ton of miles on your cars, no problem at all with that. I'm sure in your way you are enjoying your Crossfire as much as I am enjoying mine.
End of rant.

Current XF:
Bought 08/11/2008 - ~19,500 miles
Today: Just under 37,000 miles
About 11,000 of those miles are driving to the Dragon twice and once to Fort Worth for the Running of the Crossfires II event.

The traffic around here is an issue, its a PIA to go anywhere. I can walk to and from work faster than I can drive. I usually drive the beater when I do my chores, my wife hates it because its her car but so be it, I paid for it.
