Default auction prices for crossfire

The national average for all Crossfires sold at auction accordingly to ADESA used vehicle auctions from 12/17/09 to present is $9573 for year 2005 and $13,150 for 2007. These figures are a average for all models, mileage, and condition. Retail should average about $3,000 over wholesale.

That is better than I would have guessed. It's not that the cars are not worth it. It is just that they are hard for dealers to move.

I would not mind picking up a 2005 roadster for $10k next spring. But I suspect 'vert prices would start to rise at that time.

i was talking to a friend today at the dealer, he showed me auction price on srt-6.. avg was $13,997 did not matter on milage....... what a shame

the dealers are not even interested in the car for a trade or purchase....
i get really pissed when the dealers shun you about the car.....of course they are their to turn profitt or rape you and hope for a overpriced sale
on their invantory........

i guess i am like most member's of the crossfire family, i am too much into my car to just give it away...i hope sooner or later these cars will be highly
sought after enjoy.

How do you get hold of data like you quoted? Do you have a web site source? Since I help/tutor students at my local university in stats this might make an interesting trend or regression analysis problem for them.

To get access to ADESA auctions and web , you have to be a licensed dealer. Various publications use this date to publish trade in values.

Isn't that what dealers use to value a trade in? A few years back I walked into a dealer and told them my PT was in excellent shape according to Kelly and they laughed at me. "We use the auction prices" .

Most dealers will give you half of what they think they can sell your car even if it is in excellent condition, especially if your trading in your car for one they are selling.
