Default Chrysler Warranties - Current Status?

Can someone tell me whether Chrysler is still providing their MaxCare or similar warranties? I have one on my 2005 Coupe and would like to extend it, if possible. Searching the web suggests that there are several "factory" warranties offered by different on-line vendors. Does Chrysler sell warranties thru a number of vendors? Or is there only one "genuine" Chrysler warranty program.

I also own a 2004 Chrylser Pacifica for which I would like to consider a warranty.

Anyone in this group selling these things? Any suggestions?

Call 1-800-867-2921. This will get you Chrysler Service Contracts and you will talk to a Chrysler Certified Plan Advisor. They can and will come down on their prices also !

I think for Max Care the car needs to be under 4 years or 48000 miles from its original in service date. There is some sort of cut off at that point. You still may be able to get some coverage after that, but chances are they'd require some sort of inspection, etc.

Thank you. I'll follow up on your suggestion. I appreciate the tip. If I learn anything significant, I'll post it here.

Thanks again...

I did email an on-line Chrysler warranty vendor for my Pacifica and was quoted several warranty packages and prices. A form for a dealer inspection was also provided.

I previously receive the info below in an e-mail from Michael Case. He gave me the best price I could find a few years ago when he was at ChryslerServiceContracts.com. He's stating that he can give the same low prices on the new website. It appears that his prices for the Maxcare are still very low.

"I am contacting you because you have previously purchased a Chrysler Service Contract from our old website, Chrysler Service Contracts.Com. Again, thank you for your business!

We wanted to let you know that due to the ever changing climate in the U.S. Auto Industry, we have developed a new website and will continue to offer the Chrysler Service Contract (valuable factory protection) at the same 60% savings! Please visit our new site at www.ChryslerFactoryPlans.com.

If you have any questions or desire an extended auto warranty quote, you may call me direct at (888) 324-3464 or by email at info@factoryplans.com.

Sincerely,

Michael Case
Harold Zeigler Automotive Group

Since crossfire considered Class 1 warranties are higher.
