Default anybody got the itch to get their Cross out?

Mine's been in storage at my mother in law's garage on the farm since Thanksgiving, and I've started telling my wife that i really miss my baby, fantasizing about going down to visit my MIL and maybe taking the car out for a spin. Anybody else starting to look dewy-eyed when they think about it stored away, alone, in a dark garage somewhere, and you know, she just wondering why you haven't come for her? or am I the only crazy one out there? Sigh....

I constantly get the itching. Colorado usually has days in winter where it gets up to 55-60. Today was 45 and the roads were clear, so I took the car out for a spin, but no top down (but tempting).

Nope. Don't have a place to store it, even if I wanted to. Mine braves the Chicago/Illinois winters. Does pretty well I think. Have fun waiting til spring.

Quite the opposite for me too. Mines a work horse and gets used everyday. I'm looking forward to the day I can put it into hibernation just for a day to service it and wash off all the winter grime.

It's plenty cold out, but I gotta drive it today. We are going to L.A. for a week and don't plan on renting a Crossfire. I feel for those that don't get to drive their cars for an extended period of time. It's one of my pleasures and hate the fact that it's gonna be a week of boring rental car. (Mustang convertible at least)

Hi Mark, I got my baby out yesterday - drove it up to Coon Rapids and back. Dry highway all the way. I'm taking it up to Elk River today. Hopefully we'll see you and some of the other Minnesotans in St. Louis this summer. My wife and I have our room booked!

I try to run mine in the garage at least once a month. Don't get to drive it but at least I can sit and pretend.

You need to come to the Spring Dragon, and mount a camcorder in your car to take a viideo while driving the twisties. Then, mount a bigscreen in the garage in front of your car. During the winter months, you can sit in the car while watching the video, and pretend you are driving in the mountains on a beautiful spring day.

It has been a long 3 months since I put mine in storage. I did go visit them last weekend. I had to walk 1/3 mile in 12 inches of snow to get to the shed, good work out, better than a stair climber. Everything was good. Two to three more months to go. I think I will miss the Spring Dragon but have been lening more to the St. Louis run in June.

Mine sits in my garage under cover, and I want to take it out every day. Can't wait for Spring...

Actually I had mine out last evening for a few hours. Its been about a month and a 1/2 since it was started last. Temperature was in the high 20s, but the roads were free of salt. Stopped by the self service car wash and blew the dust off of it. James

Ahhh, I'm envious of you. I like the idea of taking a film and reliving it on screen during these long months. The roads are pretty dry here, so there's really no reason not to take it out, but I just know we'll get a day when it's dry in the morning, and 10" snow and ice by the afternoon, and that will be the day someone hits me in the rear and pushes me into the car in front, and that'll be all she wrote. So I'll just wait, and probably get her at Easter, which is 4/4 this year, and I'll be alot better off.

I wanted to get to StL this year, but have other trips we need to take, and money's tight this year for a variety of reasons, so we'll just have to wait until the next one.
