I am 55, female. Started out in a Triumph Spitfire MkIV at 18, next an MGB then a '78 Datsun 280ZX. When it burned, I got practical & drove Hondas for years. I have had the hots for an Xfire since they were introduced at the 2001 Car show. Finally decided that since they are going out of production I better buy one before I check out (or check in.) I love this car. Got the automatic (the first one I ever have owned) since arthritis has gotten my knees and the clutch is sometimes too much. Am completely and utterly in love with this car! However, I am tired of explaining the Daimler/Benz/Kharman connection to the uninformed.

Thanks. It is good to see a lot of women love this car as much as I do. I've just had mine 3 days and find reasons to drive. I love this car!

Sorry kids, I'm 76 and taking my fire with me. But not for awhile yet I hope. Best wheels I've had since my 63 1/2 Stude Avanti R-2. Need to see if Cross will outdo 145.
