Average age?
26 years old, Last week a guy at work told me that the car didn't fit me. I asked what he meant. And he told me it looked like a yuppies car. but spent all day staring at it and saying wow thats a beautiful car. He made a joke about how could I afford it when i have been eating tuna sandwiches and noodles for 6 months, I replied how do you think i saved the extra money for the down payment...
. I think he was a little jealous.

I'm 18 right now, turning 19 tomorrow though,
From what I've seen I might not have been the youngest on this forum at buy, but I might be the youngest on the forum as of today... lol Once I figure out how to upload pics, I'll be sure to. My XF is in tip-top shape, I keep it clean religiously!

Still glad to see another xfire go into good hands though, no matter what the age. Look forward to seeing pictures of the new car.
Welcome to the forum.
Just bought my first Crossfire today after several failed attempts last year. I'm 27 - and so far I love it! Unfortunately its getting cold here in central Ontario so I'm going to have to put it away soon
I made this post about 2 1/2 years ago, but I thought it was germane to this thread.

Scroll down to post #40.
But the way prices have been falling over the years, the average age has probably fallen considerably as well.

By the way, when I spotted them I was in my 300m and felt inferior.

I'll be on here a lot going forward.
I do body/paint by trade, so I'll be sprucing it up over the winter -- Personally I hate the silver trim a-pillars, but I hear many Crossfire owners like it because its distinctive. My plan is to do them the body colour, the fender vent slats and grill will become black, and all the silver trim inside will be the body colour as well. Before anyone gives me hate mail -- everything I've mentioned, if it can be removed - the originals will be stored and replaced with new, customized parts -- in case I ever want to go back to stock

It is amazing the spread of age groups that are owners of these fine machines. I have noted ages from 17 to 74, both men and women. How many other vehicles appeal to such a wide range of owners. I have no doubt that at car shows 20 - 30 years from now people will be saying, "I used to have one of those, I sure wish I would have kept it !" Oh those memories.
I belive the "average age" would probable be about 40?

This car is hot, no doubt about it. (And not in a DeLorean way)
The only thing this car is missing is a spot in summer blockbusters!
I suspect that the average age in the group is probably higher than my average age (actual age compared to the age I feel while driving the car) ...
I'm probably the oldest guy I've seen driving one, but I note that there are a dozen respondents to this thread who're older than I am so it's clear I'm not the only one for whom age is a state of mind ...
