mighty...

You've done a great job with this forum!!! I wish I had gotten in the computer business but then being an old fuddy duddy I'll just have to settle on being self taught and know only enough how to use a little html once in awhile.

Keep up the good work!!!

BTW: Why will codes like [img][/img] work on this BBS but things like font size won't work???

I'm 56 but coming 21 (according to my wife).
Bought the car in January and haven't tried it out yet. Just sits in the garage. In Canada, it has been a very cold winter. Maybe in March.

I gotta feel bad for you guys (and Gals) that live in dramatic climate areas, just couldn't imagine not being able to drive my toys. Lived in Southern California all my life, don't know what it's like to be should we say" left out in the cold". I bought the Crossfire superbowl Sunday, and have driven it every day since, now have 1800 miles on it at an average MPG of 28! Great car!!!

I grew up in L.A. (down below to you) Torrance and Gardena. I spent 13 years in the Army and when I came home in 1982 I couldn't wait to get out of there. The traffic had gone stupid in the years I was gone. You can't drive there anymore. Now what you do isn't driving it's "inching"..... Just inching along in bumper to bumper traffic.

At least where you are in Antelope Valley you can drive. I would love to take the car around Willow Springs...

I'm 63 almost 64. I'm really into motorcycles but when I saw the Crossfire concept, I couldn't wait until the production model came out. I had a Porsche 912 when I first got married, then had kids and family cars. The kids are all out of the house and I thought it was time for another sports car. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

42 and I don't know if a midlife crisis caused me to buy the car, or if me buying the car caused a midlife crisis! Since picking it up late September, I've put on 12,000 miles (all pleasure...just did a 1000 mile turnaround trip up Highway 1 to San Francisco over the weekend), taken off 20 pounds, got a better wardrobe, and bought designer sunglasses (a big deal for a former plain jane 8) ). Something about that car made me want to (attempt to) be as cool as it is!

40 whether I'm in the car or not. Year from now, I'll be 41. Nothing back there I want to return to. Took me 40 years to get here and to have a car like this. I Never had this much fun when I was a 20-something!! So who'd want to go back there? Not me! Future is bright and this little number is going to be a heck of a lot of fun getting me there! Kids are grown and we kicked 'em out. Their inheritance was spent on the red schnitzel rocket now in the garage (when it ain't getting the daylights driven out of it).

Welcome to the next phase of my whole life crisis! Ye haw. 8)

John

Stovebolt..... 40 is a great age... Beleive me..... When you hit 50 you start realizing that age is catching up with you. The things you did to your body when you were young start to come back to haunt you. I was a Gymnast when I was young and now I'm paying for the abuse I put my body through. Now I wish I was 40 again.

Hey guys, just found the site, and must say this is a nice little set up you got here.

As for the age I'm 18, but gonna be 19 in a few weeks.

I look forward to talking with you guys in the future.

Mike.

Great Forum! I learned a ton before I made my purchase! I get to pick mine up tomorrow and I just can't wait! I fell in love with it once I saw it at the autoshow and once I test drove it I knew I needed it right away! Put money down right after the drive; on a SSB colored! So I hope to see some fellow Xfire drivers around in Michigan!

by the way im 20 and heading to 21 in the summer

When I was that age I was in college, and simply glad to have a beat up Opel to drive...

What ARE they paying lifeguards and waiters these days?

LOL a few months ago this would have never happened ... but its a long story how the money came about!

but lets just say its well deserved and I still have a few more years of finishing a couple different degrees!

But I must say this car fits everyone's ages no matter how old and young... its a stylish car that isnt molded to fit one specific age group; thats what is so amazing about the car!

Yeah, I've certainly got you... but not everyone. 18! Man, what I would have done with this car when I was 18. I doubt I would have made it out of college!

But greg, don't fret. 25 is a great age to be cruisin in the xfire!
