My name is Alex and I bought a Graphite Metallic 2004 Crossfire with a stick. I was finally able to register on crossfireforum.org after trying for the past few months. Although I have a '98 Ford Ranger too, the Crossfire is my daily driver so some of you might've seen me around already.

Are you saving the "Ranger" for summer driving?

 

Haha no, I'm just sick of driving it! It doesn't have any options so the Crossfire is significantly more comfortable and spacious. The "Danger Ranger" has been my DD for the past 7 years so I'm enjoying the break from it. I've been through a lot with that truck and love it, but I just can't bear the thought of getting rid of it, especially because it only has 100k miles and a lot of useful life left.

Just a little more info about myself...

I graduated last May from Minnesota State University, Mankato with my BS in Automotive Engineering and I work for DuPont Performance Coatings as a field technician at the Ford Ranger assembly plant here in St Paul, MN.

I'm really impressed with the depth of knowledge and sense of community on this forum so I hope I will fit right in. Thanks again for the warm welcome, guys!

Welcome Alzilla, from a fellow Minnesotan. I'm out in Plymouth, but I frequent the Half Price Books store in Highland Park quite a bit, so I might see you. We have a bunch of great Crossfire owners up here, so keep watching the postings - there might be another get 2 gether this summer. By the way, nice looking car!

 

Stella's nice and warm in the garage right now. I'll probably give her one last bath yet before I take her for a drive to Chicago this weekend.
