I was under the impression that it was already brought to a close. The guy disappeared when he found out we were all right and he looked like an idiot.

Thanks for electing to start a new thread about a completely ridiculous topic instead of actually reading the 7 pages in the other post.

I fully expect this thread to go downhill extremely fast.

No one wants to read 12 pages just to find out if it works or not.

Actually it's 7 pages....... and the vast majority of us already know if it works or not.

If the information is contained in a thread that already has been made, and the thread is right in front of you... how does it make more sense to ask other people what the thread is about then wait for a response than to just read it? I think the thread makes it pretty clear that it does not work, is stupid, and makes you look stupid for asking.

Makes me look stupid? Your making yourself look stupid if YOU would read you would see I didn't ask the question.

I wasn't talking about you, I was using "you" in a general sense and reffering to the ideas of electric superchargers not working, being a stupid idea... asking other people if it works when the information is in front of you makes you look stupid.. plus it's you're (contraction of you are) lol , your is possesive.
My point is that the original poster apparently figured out how to use the search function, found a thread, but was too lazy to read it... That's like me picking up a book at the library, bringing it to the counter and asking the librarian to read it for me and explain it to me... Which is stupid, and makes ME look stupid. It really defeats the whole point of the search function, which is to streamline the forum. There is no reason to have 100 threads about the same topic because people are too lazy to find another thread containing the information they are looking for. You (once again, collective you) don't have to read every word on the thread, but you should be able to find your answer just by skimming through it, sometimes it helps to start on the first page, skip to the last page then work your way back.

To answer your question... no. It is useless, it needs to be powered by the alternator which theoretically wastes more energy than just running a supercharger off a belt. It will not increase pressure enough to damage anything or effectively make any power.

PS- I don't think anybody is enemies with anyone else on this forum, it's just always fun to break ***** when opportunities arise.

Come on people...I like to kid around as much as anyone, but if someone asks a simple question, why not just say "No, it doesn't work. Do a search on the subject." rather than getting all over someones case.

To rant on about "stupid people" not searching isn't helpful. One of this sites greatest attributes is the members sharing experiences with others.

Karl, I believe downward is pointing this out because the OP has posted in the original thread that clearly answered the question he asked by creating this thread. Check that one out if you want to see stupid people LOL

He did a search and didn't want to read the thread lol, my rant wasn't about stupid people, it was more about how that didn't make sense to me. I didn't directly call anybody stupid. I guess too much gets lost in typing on the interwebs to really express how I feel about most things... Think of me saying everything with a smile on my face, not in an angry way. I guess my name kind of gives a negative feel to everything though .
