Sexiest car ever in its class

"Someday these cars will be regarded much the same as the MB Gullwing, as far as design goes."
I have said this since 2003 when I saw the concept car and heard it was going into production.
I look out my office window at my roadster Crossie all day and never tire of it. For a change of view, I look one parking spot left at Crumpy's Aeroblue SRT coupe.
Or one spot to the right for a view of Mrs Sharko's Blaze red coupe.
Heaven must be close by!
Each month, the payment book gets smaller and the love of the Crossfire gets bigger. I doubt that will ever change.

Although it scares many of my friends, I don't mind being a carrier.
The loss is theirs.

I, too, suffer from too much walking backwards. Art in my driveway. My hat's off to Mr. Stoddard.
As for inspiration, I noted this in an earlier post. Seems to be some Pegaso in are cars (click Pegaso attachments).
Also some inspiration in a Siata 208CS (click Siata attachments).
And even in an Aston Martin (click Aston Martin attachments).
And even in 60's American metal (click Vetta attachment).
Or even in some cheesy places (click Victress attachment).
With this history, the lines are new and classic at the same time. Still, looking at the pictures, no one did it better than Mr. Stoddard.
As you can see by what was on my computer, this style is a long time favorite of mine, and I couldn't be happier to see it in a modern vehicle.

"
Hey Vegaslegal, how many of those cars you posted are more than two seaters? As for the lines, WOW awsome comparisons!"
Pegaso (no pics), Siatas, Victress--2 seaters.
The Apollo, and I believe the Aston, had padded shelves that could possibly be used as a seat in a pinch.
The green car is, if I recall correctly, a Bristol 405, and was a four seater (not even a 2+2). If it were a 404 it would have been a 2 seater with similar lines, but fins would have destroyed a comparison to the Crossfire.

I go with Vegaslegal's comparisons and I'll add a couple Stingray's to the lot - from the side and from the rear. Also throw in a couple of classic Bugattis.
