That is NOT where the safety triangle or med kit goes.
Mine came with them, and they strap under the boot lid.
I can photo, if peeps would like.
I have a 300c tyre compressor in the hole!

The triangle and medical kit outside, and affixed in the trunk by way of some velcro straps I'm guessing American cars don't have.

Here in Canada hitting a moose can be quite dangerous as they have long legs and come straight over the hood and hit the windshield.
My point is, a kangaroo would be even more dangerous as it may be in mid-air when it hit the windshield. Are there a lot of kangaroo and car collisions as some of those kangaroo's can get quite huge?
